Datos preliminares T1 Paleocurrent analysis in Arroyofrio beds (Callovian-Oxfordian; Iberian Range) by means of thin section imageanalysis and Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility (AMS). Preliminary data A1 Pueyo Anchuela, Óscar A1 Gil Imaz, Andrés A1 Ramajo Cordero, Javier A1 Meléndez Hevia, Guillermo AB The Arroyofrio bed (Oxfordian-Callovian) from NE Iberian Chain represents a sedimentary shallowmarine deposit with iron oolites. The paleogeographic model shows two possible paleocurrent directions:i) normal to the Ejulve-Maestrazgo emerged area or ii) parallel to the shore line. Different techniques havebeen applied to analyze paleocurrents in different environments. AMS analysis together with thin sectionimage analysis is developed to test the application of AMS to unravel the sedimentary imprint linked totractive currents. The obtained results show a general parallelism between magnetic lineation and oolitearrangement analyzed from thin sections. The obtained results show an imbricated oolite pattern compatiblewith a paleocurrent direction N020-040ºE PB Universidad de Huelva YR 2010 FD 2010 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/7457 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/7457 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
