AB Vaticano, BAV, Pal. lat. 1741 is a“miscellaneous” manuscript written inHeidelberg by the 15th Century. On ff.286r-291v, it preserves a new copy of theLiber monstrorum, and its text differs fromthe other five versions known in severaldetails. This new copy does not derive fromany of those specimens, but is very close toLeiden, UBL, Voss. lat. oct. 60
