AB El presente artículo tiene como objetivo el estudio de las fortificaciones con las que los                                   almohades dotaron a Madinat Isbilia   ,      entre los años 544/1150 y 618/1221-1222. Este estudio lo efectuamos desde una doble perspectiva: por una parte, los dispositivos que aquellos introdujeron en                                               la muralla del siglo VI/XII; por otra, los numerosos                                              Alcázar. En ambos casos, los relacionamos con la arquitectura militar de Al-Andalus
