RT Journal Article T1 Un protocolo de tratamiento estadístico para muestras polifásicas de lineaciones de disolución T1 A procedure for statistical analysis of pliphase samples of pressure-solution lineations A1 Simón Gómez, José Luis AB Accurate analysis of orientations of linear elements from polyphase populations involves computing statistics(mean, standard deviation) of each sub-population, which needs previous identification of the polymodalcharacter and separation of sub-samples. The procedure here proposed for a regional study involves: (a)distinguishing polyphase from monophase samples; (b) characterizing mean and deviation of clearlymonophase populations; (c) separating poliphase samples into sub-samples using density diagrams inequal-area projection and standard deviation values; (d) applying a correspondence test based upon the95% confidence cone, as well as an equality F-test for directional samples, by comparison with monophasereference samples. An example of application of this procedure to pressure-solution lineations in carbonatepebbles of the Aliaga Tertiary basin (Teruel, Iberian Chain) is shown PB Sociedad Geológica de España YR 2006 FD 2006 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8640 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8640 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 31 may 2026
