AB Aroche es un pequeño municipio rural de interiorintegrado en el Parque Natural Sierra de Aracenay Picos de Aroche. Desde 2004 el Ayuntamientoviene desarrollando un proyecto municipaldenominado “Proyecto Patrimonio”, destinadoa investigar, proteger, conservar y socializar suimportante patrimonio histórico-arqueológico.Este proyecto de gestión integral del patrimonio,desarrollado desde la administración más cercana,está vinculado a la búsqueda de motores de desarrollosocioeconómico y cultural del municipio, desdeuna perspectiva sostenible, equilibrada y respetuosacon el Entorno, reforzando la identidad colectivay territorial con la intención de fijar la población yevitar el temido despoblamiento, que no sólo acabarácon una forma de vida, sino con el patrimonio quehan acumulado a lo largo de los siglos. La Gestióndel patrimonio debe integrar de forma equilibradalas responsabilidades políticas, institucionales,profesionales y sociales y no debe estar reñida conla rentabilización económica, cultural y social,siempre y cuando los cuatro eslabones de la cadenade valor se cumplan: investigación, protección,conservación y socialización
AB Aroche is a small rural inland municipalityintegrated into the Sierra de Aracena and Picosde Aroche Natural Park. Since 2004 the CityCouncil has been developing a municipal projectcalled “Heritage Project”, aimed at investigating,protecting, conserving and socializing itsimportant historical-archaeological heritage. Thiscomprehensive heritage management project,developed by the closest administration, is linkedto the search for engines of socio-economic andcultural development in the municipality, from asustainable perspective, balanced and respectful ofthe environment, reinforcing the collective andterritorial identity with the intention to fix thepopulation and avoid the dreaded depopulation,which will not only end a way of life, but alsothe heritage that they have accumulated over thecenturies. Heritage Management must integratepolitical, institutional, professional and socialresponsibilities in a balanced way and must notbe at odds with economic, cultural and socialprofitability, as long as the four links of the valuechain are met: research, protection, conservationand socialization
