AB Este artículo, centrado en las emociones del profesor de matemáticas,pretende visibilizar las variables afectivas en la enseñanza de las matemáticasy llevar al lector a reflexionar sobre su importancia. Paratal objetivo nos valemos del conocimiento emocional de un profesornovel de matemáticas que imparte clase en segundo grado de educaciónsecundaria. A través de las técnicas de videograbación y la entrevistahemos identificado algunas de las emociones que experimenta durantesu práctica y los desencadenantes de ellas, lo que nos ha permitido reafirmarel papel de las emociones como motor de la acción y la relaciónde las mismas con el conocimiento profesional.
AB This article focuses on the emotions of the mathematics teacher, aimsto visualize the affective variables in the teaching of mathematics andlead the reader to reflect on the importance of these. In order to reachthe goal purpose we use the emotional knowledge of a novice teacher ofmathematics who teaches second grade in Secondary Education. Throughthe techniques of video recording and the interview we have identifiedsome of the emotions that they experience during their practice and thetriggers of them, which has allowed us to reaffirm the role of emotions asthe motor of action and their relationship with professional knowledge.
