T1 Characteristics of beach sandals of the littoral between Chipiona and Rota (Cadiz, SW Spain)

AB A morphological and sedimentological monitoring program was carried out in Cadiz littoral (SW Spain). Sediments were sieved and sedimentological parameters were calculated. Sediments, composed by quartz rich sands, present a mean grain size ranging from fine to medium and are well sorted. Small spatial crossshore and longshore variations were observed. Seasonal variations were about 0.5 phi (0.06 mm), with coarser sands associated to more energetic winter conditions
