AB El siguiente artículo pretende dilucidarla conveniencia o desacomodo del uso delArs moriendi del siglo XV para alcanzaruna buena muerte en los umbrales de unfallecimiento. Con este fin, comenzaremosdescribiendo la vivencia atemporal quetodo moribundo atraviesa al enfrentarsea su propia muerte, siempre y cuando seproduzca de manera consciente. En esadescripción incluiremos las necesidades yesperanzas que configuran dicha vivencia.Posteriormente analizaremos las característicasy uso de dicha Ars; y a partir de ahí, suidoneidad para cubrir las necesidades y esperanzasdescritas, que de manera involuntariay espontánea, brotan inexorablementeen las postrimerías de la vida
AB The following article seeks to clarifyconveniences or inadequacies of the use ofthe fifteenth-century Ars moriendi to reacha good death at the end of life. To this end,we will begin by describing the timelessexperience that every dying person goesthrough in facing his own death, as long asit occurs consciously. In that description wewill include the needs and the hopes thatmake up this experience. Subsequently, wewill analyze the characteristics and the useof the Ars. From there on, we will examineits suitability to cover the needs and hopesdescribed which arise inexorably in thelater moments of life in an involuntary andspontaneous way
