RT Journal Article T1 Elastic scattering of 7Be + 28Si at near-barrier energies A1 Sgouros, O. A1 Marquínez Durán, Gloria A1 Martel Bravo, Ismael A1 Sánchez Benítez, Ángel Miguel A1 Torresi, D. AB The elastic scattering of the radioactive nucleus 7Be from a 28Si target was studied at four near-barrier energies:13.2, 17.2, 19.8, and 22.0 MeV (E/VC= 1.14, 1.48, 1.71, and 1.90). Angular distribution measurements wereperformed at each energy with the multidetector arrayEXPADESin conjunctionwith two Parallel-PlateAvalancheCounters (PPAC) to enable beam ray reconstruction of the events. The data are analyzed in a double-foldingframework and the energy evolution of the optical potential as well as the total reaction cross sections are deducedand discussed.
