AB In this paper we study several conflictsbetween the Monarchy and the ValencianChurch in order to analyse the ressourcesthat both powers employed to defendtheir position and jurisdiction. Our aimis to show how, in spite of the superioritypretended by the Crown, the eclesiasticinstitutions employed every tool they couldso as to defend their liberties, but withoutnecessarily questioning the said superiority
