T1 Hagiología, tiempo e imaginario : santoral y calendario en Aracena (Siglo XV-XVIII)

AB El artículo aborda el impacto que sobre el imaginario colectivo de una comunidad local andaluza de entre los siglos XVI al XVIII tuvo la panoplia de santos legada por la configuración eclesiástica bajomedieval. Ello ha exigido examinar cómo la imagen universal de cada santo - producto de la tradición hagiográfica, iconográfica y liturgica  sirve a la organización del espacio y a la relación de fuerzas sociales (clero, cofradías..) dentro de la comunidad local. En una segunda parte se examinan (a través del análisis concreto de una crónica local) la percepción real (o popular) del santoral por parte de esa misma comunidad, en la medida en que aquél sirve para nominar los hitos fundamentales de su ritmo biológico, manifiesto en la vivencia local del calendario litúrgico anual.___________________________________This article approaches the impact that Christian saints of the Middle Ageshad on the collectivity of Andalusian community between 16th and 18th centuries.For this purpose, it was necessary to examine how the worldwide imageof each saint, resulted from the hagiographic, iconographic and liturgical tradition,contributes to the spatial configuration and structure of social Institutions(i.e. clergy, brotherhoods...) inside the community. In a second part, throughoutthe specific analysis of a local chronicle of 16th century, the popular perceptionof the santoral (a book of life stories of the saints) is analysed. That is possiblebecause that book is used to give name to the main milestone of the biologicalrhythm of the concrete society, a manifesto of the local living of the annualliturgical calendar.
