This initiative known asÁgora Infantil (AI) is characterised by an obligatory draw‐based deliberative participation methodology with superordinategoals based on group dynamics, with gamesplaying a central role. The evaluation was carried out usinga quasi‐experimental design, with quantitative measurementsof the experimental and control groups, along withsystematic observation of the target group. The resultssupport the hypotheses proposed: Participation in the AIprogramme led to an increase in psychological empowermentand positive interactions between the participants. These results offer information as to what design shouldbe used for these types of political initiatives to favourinclusion and empowerment of children, while at the sametime improving classroom relationships.
