Six terrace levels were identified and mapped. These have average heights of 2,5; 10; 15; 20; 35; and 63 m above river level. Four older surfaces were identified at 125, 250, 600 and 800 m above these terraces. The new ages place the Pleistocene terraces at 35 m above the fluvial channel. A discussion ab o u t the accuracy o f the ages is presented}, publisher = {Sociedad Geológica de España}, title = {Propuesta de un modelo cronológico para las terrazas de los ríos de la vertiente cantábrica}, title = {A proposal of a chronological model for the fluvial terraces of the rivers in northern Cantabrian Range}, author = {González, A. and Díaz de Terán, J.
