A1 Izquierdo Gómez, Jaime A1 Ocaña Gónzalez, Francisco A1 Sánchez de Miguel, A. AB The continuous monitoring of thenight sky by means of high-sensitivity CCD video devicesprovides helpful information about the activity ofmajor and minor meteor showers. In this way, differentphysico-chemical parameters of meteoroids ablating inthe atmosphere can be obtained. These include trajectory, radiant, orbit, mass and tensile strength [1, 2].One of these minor showers is the Northern October δArietds, which is currently included in the IAU list ofworking meteor showers with code 0025 NOA. So,additional observations of this shower can be veryhelpful to improve our knowledge about the NOA meteoroidstream. In particular, the calculation of preciseorbital parameters is fundamental in order to analyzethe origin and evolution of this stream. The determinationof such orbits is one of the aims of the SPanishMeteor Network (SPMN). Thus, as a result of our continuousfireball and spectroscopic campaigns, three ofour meteor monitoring stations recorded on October17, 2012 a mag. -8 NOA fireball that was cataloguedas SPMN171012. Its emission spectrum was also obtained. This event is analyzed here.
