RT Conference Proceedings T1 A northerm may ophiuchid fireball imaged in 2012 in the framework of the Spanish meteor network A1 Aranda, P. A1 Madiedo Gil, José María A1 Trigo Rodríguez, Josep María A1 Toscano, F. M. AB The Northern May Ophiuchids is apoorly known annual meteor shower whose activityperiod extends from April, 25 to May, 31, peakingaround May 13 [1]. It is included in the IAU list ofworking meteor showers with code 149 NOP. Thus, the development of a continuous observing campaigncan provide helpful data to increase or knowledgeabout this shower. In particular, multi-station eventswould be useful to calculate precise orbital data anddifferent physico-chemical properties of meteoroidsbelonging to the NOP stream. Besides, the chemicalnature of these particles of interplanetary matter can beinferred from the analysis of the emission spectrumproduced when they ablate in the atmosphere. Here wepresent the analysis of a NOP fireball recorded in theframework of the fireball monitoring and spectroscopiccampaign organized by the SPanish MeteorNetwork (SPMN).
