A1 Elorza, Javier AB Its easy to aprecíate that the fracture field creates a tortuous pipe networks. Such nets usually have an scaling or fractal structure, in most of the cases studied, and some spatial distribution properties which allow us to characterize them as fractals. This hard task is made to simulate the hidrogeological behaviour in the fractured media. Really, the problem arises when one wants to do a fractal characterization and simulation both related. Thats is the problem dealed in this work. Two difieren ways of analyses (an Inverse Box-Counting Method MIBC, and an aggregation mass algorithm) related with two fractal simulation methodologies, to describe and simulate the fractaiity in fracture nets, are exposed, and showed With an example which uses the El Berrocal data base PB Sociedad Geológica de España YR 1996 FD 1996 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/12845 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/12845 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
