T1 La drogodependencia como factor determinante en la reclusión penitenciaria

AB El usuario es un paciente drogodependiente con diagnóstico clínico de patología dualrecluso en una Institución Penitenciaria. Derivado al Equipo de Apoyo a InstitucionesPenitenciarias (EAIP) solicita entrevista con la trabajadora social de dicho equipo porencontrarse en gran estado de ansiedad y sufrir alucinaciones tras habérsele retiradodesde el servicio médico penitenciario el tratamiento prescrito por Salud Mental queseguía.Así mismo solicita ayuda para la tramitación de una prestación económica por orfandada la que dice tener derecho legal o bien una prestación por minusvalía.El paciente ha seguido reiterados programas de rehabilitación con éxito inicial yposteriores recaídas, con aparición de brotes sicóticos a causa del consumo deestupefacientes y que se encuentra en prisión cumpliendo una condena de dos años yseis meses por un delito de robo con intimidación en las personas y otro en grado detentativa.El caso está actualmente abierto por lo que al final del relato del mismo se presenta laplanificación de la intervención trazada por la trabajadora social responsable de lamisma con la exposición de objetivos a corto, medio y largo plazo.
AB The user is a drug addict patient with a clinical diagnosis of dual pathology interned ina penitentiary institution. Referred to the Penitentiary Institution Support Team (EAIP),the patient requests an interview with the social worker of the above team, because heis in a state of great agitation and suffers hallucinations as a result of the withdrawal bythe penitentiary medical service of the treatment that the Mental Health Unit hadprescribed and he was following.The patient also requests assistance for the processing of the orphan's allowance towhich he claims to have legal rights, or otherwise in processing a disability allowance.The patient has repeatedly followed rehabilitation programs with initial success andsubsequent relapses, with the appearance of psychotic outbreaks due to theconsumption of drugs, and is currently in prison serving a sentence of two years and sixmonths for a charge of theft and intimidation and another for attempted theft.The case is presently open; therefore at the end of this report, the short, medium andlong term objectives of the intervention plan drawn up by the social worker areoutlined.
