RT Journal Article T1 Study of the 6Li+p and 7Li+p Systems in the Continuum Discretized Coupled Channels Approach A1 Sgouros, O. A1 Soukeras, V. A1 Pakou, A. A1 Martel Bravo, Ismael AB A complete study of the 6,7Li + p reactions was performed by measuringthe complete net of reaction channels at the energy range of ~ 2 to5 MeV/nucleon. The experiments were performed at the MAGNEX facilityof the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare-Laboratori Nazionali del Sud(INFN-LNS) in Catania. The breakup channel was identified by means ofa new algorithm, MULTIP, which gives the possibility of following up thedecay of the nucleus into two or more constituent particles from the restframe of the nucleus itself to the laboratory frame. Angular distributionswere obtained for all reaction products and were considered within the ContinuumDiscretized Coupled Channels (CDCC) framework. The results ofthe CDCC calculations were found in a very good agreement with the experimentaldata presenting a strong evidence for the important influenceof coupling to breakup on the elastic channel.
