T1 Salinas y turismo : una propuesta de desarrollo local a través del turismo en las salinas : estudio del caso de Isla Cristina

AB España ha sufrido grandes pérdidas de empleo debido a la crisis económica mundial.Por ello, es de gran importancia proponer ideas innovadoras para promover el desarrollo localde los territorios. En esta circunstancia también se encuentra Isla Cristina, por esta razón latesis estudia como fomentar su desarrollo local a través del turismo en las salinas.La tesis se plantea desde un método hipotético deductivo donde las salinas litoralestienen la capacidad de fomentar un turismo sostenible. Por ello, se ha estudiado la historia dela sal a nivel mundial, así como a la historia salinera de la ciudad de Isla Cristina y los beneficiosde la sal para el ser humano.Siguiendo la investigación, se analizó los principales referentes europeos del turismosalinero, como son Guérande en Francia, Maldon en Inglaterra y Castro Marim en Portugal.Por la parte española se añadió San Pedro del Pinatar en la provincia de Murcia, por susemejanza con Isla Cristina que es el principal objeto de nuestro estudio. También se ha valoróla costa de la Luz, el marco territorial y socioeconómico donde se localiza el municipio de IslaCristina.Posteriormente, se realizó un extenso estudio de Isla Cristina, con una aproximación porel método LEADER II, analizando el territorio desde la perspectivas de los actores deldesarrollo, para contrastar su visión con entrevistas a otros niveles escalares.Con todos estos datos se realizó una síntesis de las perspectivas y bondades del turismosalinero, exponiendo las ideas claves. Posteriormente, en las conclusiones, se contrastó si eraposible confirmar las hipótesis y objetivos propuestos en la tesis. Finalmente, se han planteadocuales serían las posibles líneas de investigación que continuasen el interesante trabajo sobre elturismo en los espacios salineros. Queda una extensa tarea para descubrir y/o rehabilitar en lassalinas para el turismo.

The Costa de la Luz has also been valued, as it is the areawhere Isla Cristina is included, and therefore its most direct rival.Subsequently, an extensive analysis of Isla Cristina was carried out, which is based onthe LEADER II method, which is used by local tourism development experts at Europeanlevels, with the intention of showing the characteristics of the territory under study andassessing its development. local. Next, the tourism sector and its competition at the nationallevel were evaluated.With all these data a synthesis has been made and subsequently, the resultingconclusions have been described. Finally, the corroboration of the hypotheses has been studiedand the following aspects of the thesis that could be carried out in the future based on ourresearch have been considered.
