RT Journal Article T1 Studies for a 72.75 MHz Four Vanes CW-RFQ for ECOS-LINCE Project A1 Ordúz, A. K. A1 Bontoiu, Cristian A1 Martel Bravo, Ismael A1 Garbayo, Alberto A1 Villari, A. C. C. AB The ECOS is considering the construction of a new facility for acceleratinghigh intensity stable beams with energies at and above the Coulombbarrier, the LINCE light and heavy ion accelerator. This facility couldbe based on a normal conducting CW-RFQ and a superconducting linac, working at 72.75 MHz. This paper presents a design study for the RFQsystem which is able to achieve 500 keV/u output for A=Q = 7 ions in only5 m length.
