RT Journal Article T1 Quark Confinement from different Dressed Gluon Propagators A1 Bedolla Hernández, Marco Antonio A1 Raya, Khépani A1 Raya, A. AB The gap equation in quantum chromodynamics is solved by incorporating differ-ent gluon dressing functions, some of them derived from a quark-diquark potentialthat exhibits a conformal symmetry. By using the bare vertex and working in theLandau gauge, the quark mass function is found to have an infrared enhancementthat smoothly transitions to an asymptotically free behavior at high momentum, which is consistent with the predictions of Schwinger-Dyson equations. Addi-tionally, these quark propagators violate reflexion positivity, indicating that thegluon dressing provides clear evidence of quark confinement.
