T2 Evaluation of an educational DVD through a group of experts

AB Partimos de la idea que en la actualidad que el uso de las nuevas tecnologías son de gran utilidad entodos los órdenes y no va a ser menos en lo que concierne a la educación. Esto ha conducido a loscambios que se han producido en la sociedad y en los nuevos métodos de enseñanza. En laactualidad, el aprendizaje está centrado en el alumno no sólo por el hecho de que los materialesutilizados estén adaptados a él sino porque se deja que sea el propio el alumno el que lleve, hastacierto punto, el control del proceso de aprendizaje, gracias a las facilidades que nos permite el uso delas nuevas tecnologías.El objetivo de éste trabajo fue analizar el proceso de validación llevado a cabo en el trabajo deinvestigación Diseño, Evaluación y Aplicación de un Recurso Multimedia en la enseñanza del Minibalonmano en Maestros Especialistas en Educación Física.Para dicha validación, se recurrió a la técnica del cuestionario que se pasó a una serie de expertostanto en el contenido propiamente dicho del interactivo como en el diseño el mismo. Este cuestionariose estructuró en cuatro grandes bloques y su objetivo fundamental fue analizar las características másimportantes del multimedia: Se trataba de recabar la opinión de los expertos en cuanto a si el materialpodría ser motivante, estimular el aprendizaje y facilitar la adquisición de los contenidos presentados.De los resultados obtenidos se desprende que el estilo de redacción fue el ítem más valorado en estecuestionario, así como los contenidos relativos al mini balonmano y a los desplazamientos. Cabedestacar, asimismo, la correlación ente los comentarios realizados en la cualitativa y las puntuacionesde la cuantitativa. Entre las sugerencias aportadas, los expertos recomendaron la inclusión deesquemas que permitieran a los alumnos tener una visión global tanto de cada uno de los apartadoscomo del interactivo en su generalidad.Como resultado del análisis del cuestionario, se pudieron reparar aquellos enlaces rotos o queerróneamente no llevarían al punto correcto del interactivo e incluir un índice que permitiera navegarpor el Dvd. Por otra parte, sirvió para modificar aquellos contenidos que podían no resultar losuficientemente explícitos para el tipo de alumno que iba a utilizarlo. Así, se recortaron aquellos que seconsideró que excedían el objeto de este estudio y se ampliaron aquellos que, en opinión de losexpertos, se quedaban algo escasos.
AB We started with the idea that the use of the so called new technologies is of a great utility in every fieldof our lives, even in education matters. This use has driven us to changes in our society and in the newmethods of education too. At this moment, the learning is centered on the pupils because all thematerials they use are adapted to them and because they are allowed to take control, in a certain way,of the learning process, due to the facilities given by the use of the new technologies.This article discusses the validation process carried out in an investigation into the design, evaluationand implementation of a DVD multimedia in teaching handball teachers in physical education.For this validation, we used the questionnaire technique answered by several experts in the interactivecontent or in the design area. This questionnaire was structured into four major blocks and their primaryobjective was to analyze the most important characteristics of the Dvd. We tried to gather opinion ofthose experts on whether the material could be exciting, stimulate the learning and help to get theincluded content.The results showed that the style of writing was, by far, the most prized item in the questionnaire, aswell as the content related to mini handball and the displacement. It is also noteworthy the correlationbetween the comments made in the qualitative analysis and the quantitative results. Among thesuggestions made, the experts recommended to include schemes that allowed students to get a globalvision of each section and the interactive as an entity itself.As a result, it was possible to repair those broken links or wrong which did not lead to the correct pointof the Dvd and also include an index that allowed the students to go through it. On the other hand, itwas used to modify the contents not clear enough for the students using it. Thus, those contents beyondthe purpose of this study were cut off and extended those others considered not deep enough for theexperts.
