RT Conference Proceedings T1 The Puerto Lápice eucrite. Free sample delivery from vesta : trajectory, orbital solutions, and shock history from cathodoluminiscence A1 Trigo Rodríguez, Josep María A1 Llorca, Jordi A1 Madiedo Gil, José María A1 Jambon, A. A1 Chennaoui Aoudjehane, H. AB A daylight fireball was witnessed all overSpain in the afternoon of May 10, 2007. Several pictures of thefireball’s train taken from different locations in Spain, and eyewitnessesreports allowed the determination of its trajectory andrange of orbital solutions. The progenitor meteoroid was in anApollo-type orbit, with low inclination and perihelion distancejust below 1 Astronomical Unit [1]. The meteorite was recovereda few weeks after its fall, and presented to the community in theMeteoroids 2007 conference of Barcelona in June 2007 [2]. Adetailed characterization of Puerto Lápice meteorite revealed itseucritic and brecciated nature [3]. Oxygen isotopes also confirmedthat it belongs to the HED suite, the main group of basalticeucrites [3]. The meteorite probably suffered a complex shockhistory as reveals the presence of abundant shock veins that evidenceat least three different shock events.
