RT Journal Article T1 El Deslizamiento de Güevéjar (provincia de Granada): un caso de inestabilidad de laderas inducida por sismos T1 The Güevéjar Landslide: a case study of slope instability triggered by earthquakes A1 Jiménez Pintor, J. A1 Azor, A. AB Drawing on historical documents and a detailed field study, we have been able to characterize the Güevéjarlandslide as a complex landmass movement with a dominant multi-rotational component. The landslidebody is made up of very heterogeneous rocks, while the basal surface is located on lignite-bearing marls. The main triggering factor responsible for this landslide is thought to be the dynamic effect of high magnitudeearthquakes with the focus located at very long distances (tens to hundreds of km) from Güevéjar. Somepieces of evidence point to local-scale amplification of seismic waves (site effect) as causing reactivation ofthe landslide YR 2006 FD 2006 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8597 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8597 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 1 jun 2026
