AB En este estudio se elabora un índice integral de bienestar que involucra loscomponentes salud, educación e ingresos, en sus dos dimensiones -objetivay subjetiva-. La medida propuesta implica dos procedimientos bietápicos deagregación que combinan, cada uno en distinto orden, la media geométricay la ponderación de la media aritmética. Ambos resultados se conjugan através de un cálculo compensatorio utilizado en lógica difusa. Los resultadosobtenidos para un conjunto de 58 países dan cuenta del cambio significativoen el ranking al integrar las percepciones de los individuos para cada uno delos componentes del bienestar
AB In this study, an integral wellbeing index is elaborated that involves thecomponents health, education and income, in both dimensions -objectiveand subjective-. The proposed measure involves two two-stage aggregationprocedures combining, each in different order, the geometric mean andthe weight of the arithmetic mean. Both results are combined through acompensatory calculation used in fuzzy logic. The results obtained for a groupof 58 countries account for the significant change in the ranking by integratingthe perceptions of individuals for each of the components of wellbeing
