AB Planteamos un estudio de las estructuras y materiales hallados en el santuario fenicio de La Algaida en Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), antaño situado en una isla en la desembocadura del río Guadalquivir en lo que fue el Lago Ligustino. Proponemos que los dos sectores conocidos formarían parte de un mismo conjunto sacro, por lo que habría perdurado hasta la época alto imperial corroborando así lo expuesto por Estrabón.
AB We carry out the study of the structures andmaterials found in the Phoenician sanctuary of LaAlgaida in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), oncelocated on an island at the mouth of the GuadalquivirRiver in the ancient Lacus Ligustinus. We proposethat the two known sectors would be part of thesame sacred complex, which therefore would haveexisted until the Roman Imperial period, thuscorroborating what was described by Strabo.
