RT Journal Article T1 Consideraciones sobre el funcionamiento hidrogeológico del acuífero carbonatado de la Alta Cadena (provincia de Málaga, España) T1 Considerations about the hydrogeological functioning of the Alta Cadena carbonate aquifer (Málaga province, Spain) A1 Mudarra Martínez, Matías A1 Andreo Navarro, Bartolomé A1 Marín Guerrero, Ana Isabel AB The hydrodinamic and hydrochemical responses of three springs (Villanueva del Rosario, Pita and Parroso)located in the Alta Cadena carbonate aquifer (province of Malaga, South Spain) have been monitoredfrom September 2006 to January 2008. A first interpretation on the hydrogeological functioning and onthe karst network development has been performed, which is useful for groundwater protection. Thus,Villanueva del Rosario spring drains a part of the Alta Cadena aquifer more karstified than the catchmentarea of the other two springs. This means that catchment area of Villanueva del Rosario spring is morevulnerable than the other to the contamination and consequently it needs more strict protection criteria YR 2008 FD 2008 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8247 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8247 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 13 jul 2026
