RT Journal Article T1 Anomalías gravimétricas y estructura del abanico aluvial de La Zubia (Sierra Nevada occidental, Cordilleras Béticas) T1 Gravity anomalies and structure of the La Zubia alluvial fan (western Sierra Nevada, Betic Cordilleras) A1 Ruiz Constán, Ana A1 Galindo Zaldívar, Jesús A1 Sanz de Galdeano, Carlos AB La Zubia alluvial fan is located at the boundary between the western slopes of Sierra Nevada and theGranada depression. The Alpujárride rocks of the northwestern flank of Sierra Nevada antiform constituteits metamorphic basement. New gravity data allow to estimate the distribution of the Neogene-Quaternarysedimentary fill thickness. Gravity models indicate that the N-S normal faults of Sierra Nevada border havenot large related depocenters and the basement is deeper towards the Granada depression. Faults aremore active in the northern sector of the alluvial fan, where is located the NW-SE oriented Granada Faultthat northwestwards progressively increases its vertical slip.
