AB Las actuales formas de colonización que favorecen las nuevas tecnologías contribuyen al mantenimiento de la visión occidental mecanicista y racionalista del mundo. Esta situación genera en los países del Tercer Mundo una doble realidad: por un lado, la que se asemeja al estilo de vida occidental y, por otra, la realidad de pobreza y exclusión que muestra el fracaso del desarrollo. La autora propone que es necesario reajustar los valores dominantes a partir de una visión holística del mundo y del ser humano que lo habita. La antropología puede contribuir a educar en una visión integral y profunda de las culturas a las que se pretende beneficiar.
AB The current forms of colonization that favor new technologies contribute to the maintenance of the mechanistic and rationalist Western vision of the world. This situation generates in the Third World countries a double reality: on the one hand, the one that resembles the Western way of life and, on the other, the reality of poverty and exclusion that shows the failure of development. The author proposes that it is necessary to readjust the dominant values from a holistic vision of the world and of the human being that inhabits it. Anthropology can contribute to educating in a comprehensive and profound vision of the cultures to which it is intended to benefit.
