AB Se ha determinado la presencia de circones ígneos y metamórficos enmuestras procedentes del plutón de Lys-Caillaouas mediante el análisis petrográficoy geoquímico. Los circones ígneos arrojan edades para el emplazamientodel plutón de 300 ± 2 Ma. Por su parte, los circones metamórficosproporcionan una edad ligeramente más antigua que la anterior, 307 ±3 Ma, que probablemente sea el reflejo del pico térmico del metamorfismovarisco de AT/BP. A la vista de estas dataciones se puede establecer un intervalode tiempo, de unos 7 m.a., entre el clímax del metamorfismo variscoy el emplazamiento sincinemático (tardi-Carbonífero) de este plutón en laZona Axial del Pirineo
AB Igneous and metamorphic zircons from the Lys-Caillaouas pluton havebeen identified according to their petrographic and geochemicalcharacteristics. The igneous zircons constraint an age of 300 ± 2 Ma for theemplacement of the pluton. By contrast, the metamorphic zircons yield aslightly older age of 307 ± 3 Ma, which probably dates the thermal peak ofHT/LP Variscan metamorphism. Therefore, a short time lag of ca. 7 m.y.emerges between the Variscan metamorphic climax and the synkinematic(late-Carboniferous) pluton emplacement in the Axial Zone of the Pyrenees
