T1 El proceso lector en español como lengua extranjera: fluidez lectora silenciosa y aptitud musical

AB Este estudio muestra el modo en que en la fluidez lectora silenciosa en L2 interactúa con lashabilidades lectoras adquiridas en L1, con la conciencia fonológica en L2 y con variablesno lingüísticas como la aptitud musical, de acuerdo con su naturaleza acústica.Participaron 117 estudiantes universitarios italianos de español como lengua extranjera(ELE). Los estudiantes tuvieron que completar una batería de pruebas cuyos resultadospermitieron medir su fluidez lectora silenciosa en L1 y en L2 (Test of silent contextualreading fluency), su conciencia fonológica en L2 (Spoonerism Test) y su sensibilidad musical,de acuerdo con el reconocimiento del ritmo, el tono, el tempo y la melodía (Mini-PromsTest). Los análisis de correlaciones y el análisis de regresión lineal muestran la existencia deuna relación significativa entre variables lingüísticas y no lingüísticas, lo cual contribuye aexplicar los perfiles lectores fluyentes en L2.
AB This paper shows the way in which silent reading fluency in L2 interacts with reading skillsacquired in L1, with phonological awareness in L2 and with non-linguistic variables suchas musical aptitude, according to its acoustic nature.The study involved 117 Italian university students of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE).The students completed a battery of tests whose results allowed to measure their L1 andL2 silent reading fluency (Test of silent contextual reading fluency), their phonologicalawareness (Spoonerism Test) and their musical sensibility, consisting in the recognition ofrhythm, tone, tempo and melody (Mini-Proms Test Battery). The correlation and covarianceanalyzes employed show the existence of a significant relationship between linguistic andnon-linguistic variables, which helps to explain the profiles of fluent readers in L2.
