The residual anomalies are up to-5,8 mGal in the basin center and increase to the basin boundaries where outcrops metamorphic rocks.The interaction between north vergent folds and faults, with several orientations and kinematics, determinethe position of the basin basement top. The maximum sedimentary thickness is located close to the southbasin border, associated to the hinge zone of the Almanzora synform.
