AB El periodo comprendido entre el iniciodel siglo XIX y la primera mitad del sigloXX destaca por el desarrollo del movimientohigienista en España, que da suma importanciaa la salubridad y condiciones de vida de laspoblaciones. El seguimiento que el municipiode Hinojos hizo de la doctrina higiénica es loque nos atañe en este trabajo, pues detallamosel contenido de las ordenanzas municipales deeste pueblo en lo que respecta a dicho tema. Elobjetivo fundamental de estas ordenanzas eraacabar con enfermedades epidémicas causadaspor la insalubridad o la malnutrición, comola fiebre tifoidea o el cólera. Estas ordenanzasconsistieron en la aplicación de normativascomo el alejamiento de mataderos del núcleopoblacional, la creación de un sistema mecánicode abastecimiento de agua potable abundante,el seguimiento de una serie de normas delimpieza en los establecimientos públicoso la vigilancia de ciertos fraudes, como laadulteración alimentaria o el intrusismo en lasprofesiones sanitaria
AB The period between the second half of thenineteenth century and the first half of thetwentieth century stands out for the beginningand development of hygienism in Spain, whichgives great importance to the health and livingconditions of the populations. The follow-upthat the municipality of Hinojos made of thehygienic doctrine is what concerns us in thiswork, because we detail the content of themunicipal ordinances of this town in regardto this subject. The fundamental objective ofthese ordinances was to end epidemic diseasescaused by unhealthiness or malnutrition, suchas typhoid fever or cholera. These ordinancesconsisted of the application of regulations suchas the removal of slaughterhouses from the ruralnucleus, the creation of a mechanical systemfor the supply of abundant drinking water, themonitoring of a series of cleaning standardsin public establishments or the surveillanceof certain frauds, such as food adulteration orintrusiveness in the health professions
