AB Se presentan los análisis de seis muestras de escoriahalladas durante trabajos de acondicionamientourbanístico de la ciudad de Ibiza (Islas Baleares).Estas muestras, que son unas de las primerasmuestras de escoria analizadas procedentes delcasco antiguo de la ciudad de Ibiza, correspondena productos de un taller metalúrgico dedicado a laindustria broncínea. Las tres primeras muestras sonrestos de elementos metálicos de bronces ternarios(cobre, estaño y plomo) en fase de producción.Esos metales se mezclarían en vasos (crisoles), a losque corresponden las tres últimas muestras, queconservan en algún caso restos de esos tres elementos(cobre, estaño y plomo). Como nota interesante,están fabricados en arcillas ricas en hierro y cal,cuya adición posiblemente sea intencional a juzgarpor paralelos históricos
AB The analyzes of six samples of slag found during urban development works in the city of Ibiza (Balearic Islands) are presented. These samples,which are one of the first samples of slag analyzedfrom the old town of Ibiza town, correspond toproducts from a metallurgical workshop dedicatedto the bronze industry. The first three samples tobe discussed are remains of ternary bronze metallicelements (copper, tin and lead) in the productionphase. These metals would be mixed in ceramicvessels (crucibles), to which the last three samplescorrespond, which in some cases retain traces ofthese three elements (copper, tin and lead). Thesefragments of crucibles are made of clays rich iniron and lime, the addition of which is possibly intentional judging by historical parallels
