T1 Nuevas tecnologías para el aprendizaje y la formación de una sociedad en red: salvando la tercera brecha digital

AB Que la tecnología se ha instalado en nuestrasvidas, es algo que todos, de una formau otra, hemos ido asumiendo, cadauno en función a sus necesidades. Losinvitados a este debate son profesionales de distintosámbitos del conocimiento, hombres y mujeres que sepreocupan por un correcto uso de las tecnologías,dentro y fuera del sistema de Educación Superior, deedades muy diferentes, desde alumnos recién egresadoshasta profesores eméritos universitarios. Independientementede todas estas variables, las tecnologíasforman parte de sus vidas, ya sea para aprendero para enseñar, desde lo presencial o en la distancia.Todos ellos están sensibilizados con la necesidadde reflexionar y repensar el correcto uso de lastecnologías en la ciudadanía y en las instituciones educativasen particular.En este debate se evidencia la preocupación sobrecómo se están utilizando las tecnologías en el desarrollointegral de la persona. Por otra parte, se hablasobre cómo el manejo de los dispositivos electrónicosno implica que se haga un uso adecuado quelleve a la persona a estar más formada, informada ysobre todo en esa comunicación que se da por supuesta.El aislamiento que se puede dar por el usoabusivo de las tecnologías, contrasta con la exposiciónmasiva de la vida privada en la red ante una nuevasociedad sin fronteras físicas en la que es fundamentalel criterio, la responsabilidad y sobre todo elfomento de una cultura de Paz
AB Something that we all have assumed, in a way or another, each one based on our needs, is that technology has place itself in our lives. The guests of the debate are professionals from different fields of knowledge, men and women who worry about the correct use of technologies; inside and outside the Superior Education; from very varied ages; from students recently graduated to emeriti university professors. Regardless of these variables, technology is a part of their lives, whether it is for learning or teaching, face-to face, or distance type. All of them are aware of the necessity to reflect and rethink the correct use of technologies in the citizens, and in the educational institutions specially. In this debate, we have evidence of the concern about how technologies are being used in the comprehensive development of the person. On the other hand, the debate tells us how the use of electronic devices does not imply that they are put to a good use leading the person to be more trained, informed; mainly in this communication which is taken for granted. The isolation that could be caused by the abuse of technologies, is in contrast with the massive exposure of the private life on the net before a new society with no physical boundaries in which it is essential the opinion, the responsibility, and mostly, the promotion of a culture of Peace.
