RT Journal Article T1 Acquisition of educational values at the Real Madrid Foundation’s social-sports schools A1 Ortega Vila, Gema A1 Ortega Toro, Enrique A1 Giménez Fuentes-Guerra, Francisco Javier A1 Robles Rodríguez, José A1 Alarcón López, Francisco A1 Abad Robles, Manuel Tomás AB The objective of this study was to analyse the impact of the educationalprogramme of the Real Madrid Foundation (RMF) on the acquisition ofeducational values at social-sports football and basketball schools amongchildren aged between 12 and 16 years in Italy, Romania, Spain and theUnited Kingdom. The most significant results showed that: (a) between the20–21 and 21–22 seasons, there were statistically significant increases inpersonal and team success, self-fulfilment, personal and group superiority,health and physical fitness, and peaceful behaviour; and (b) the increase invariables being studied was different according to the country analysed in sucha way that: in the per-sonal and team success dimension there was a rise inthe United Kingdom and Italy; in self-fulfilment there was an increase in theUnited Kingdom; in the personal and group superiority dimension there wasa rise in Italy and Romania; in the health and physical fitness dimension therewas an increase in social-sports schools in the United Kingdom and Italy; in thepeaceful behaviour dimension there was a rise in social-sports schools in theUnited Kingdom and a drop in social-sports schools in Romania. There were verysignificant improvements in the majority of dimensions and countries, althoughthe development of the various dimensions is different and specific to everyone of the distinct countries, meaning that it is necessary to keep adaptingthe educational programme of the Real Madrid Foundation in line with thesociocultural characteristics of each of the countries in which it is implemented.
