AB En este trabajo comunicamos el hallazgo de dos centros vertebralescorrespondientes a una vértebra dorsal y a otra caudal los cuales pertenecena un gran dinosaurio ornitópodo. Los fósiles fueron hallados en el municipiode Aliaga (Teruel Geoparque del Maestrazgo), en un afloramiento de laFormación Areniscas de Camarillas (Barremiense inferior, Cretácico Inferior).Anatómicamente, el centro dorsal formaría parte del conjunto más posteriorde la serie de vértebras dorsales. Este centro es corto y alto, anficélico o ligeramenteplaticélico, con márgenes que sobresalen fuertemente del centro.Por su parte, el centro caudal tendría una posición media dentro de la cola.Es platicélico. En su conjunto, estas características relacionan las vértebras deAliaga con el taxón barremiense Iguanodon bernissartensis. Sin embargo,debido a lo fragmentario de los restos, los atribuimos a Hadrosauriformesindet. Los resultados de este trabajo respaldan la hipótesis de que había almenos tres taxones de grandes ornitópodos durante el Barremiense inferioren la Península Ibérica
AB In this work we report the finding of two vertebral centra of dorsal andcaudal vertebrae, which belong to a large ornithopod dinosaur. These centrawere found in the municipality of Aliaga (Teruel Maestrazgo CulturalGeopark), in an outcrop at the Sandstones of Camarillas Formation (lowerBarremian, Lower Cretaceous).Anatomically, the dorsal centrum would formpart of the most posterior set of the dorsal vertebrae series. This centrum isshort and tall, amphicoelous or slightly platicoelous, with strongly evertedmargins from the centrum. Meanwhile, the caudal centrum would have amedium position in the tail. It is platicoelous. As a whole, these featuresrelate vertebrae from Aliaga with the Barremian taxon Iguanodonbernissartensis. However, due to the fragmentary state of these remains, weattributed them as Hadrosauriformes indet. Results from this work supportthe hypothesis that there were, at least, three taxa of large ornithopodsduring the lower Barremian at the Iberian Peninsula
