AB The Permian basins in the easternmost part of the Spanish Central System have been ascribed to the tectonic activity that took place during the late Hercynian. The Pálmaces half-graben is mainly due to a complex interaction between the fault system of Angón, largely affecting the hercynian metamorphic rocks, and the well-known Sarteneja Fault
AB Las cuencas del Pérmico en la parte más oriental del Sistema Central Español se han atribuido a la actividad tectónica que tuvo lugar durante el Herciniano tardío. La medio fosa tectónica de Pálmaces se debe principalmente a la compleja interacción entre el sistema de fallas de Angón, que afecta en gran medida a las rocas metamórficas hercinianas, y a la conocida falla de Sarteneja.
