RT Journal Article T1 Algunas consideraciones sobre los procesos de salinización en el acuífero Martíl-Alila (Tetuán, Marruecos) T1 Some considerations about the salinization processes in the Martil-Alila aquifer (Tetouan, Morocco) A1 Stitou el Messari, Jamal A1 Cerón García, Juan Carlos A1 Pulido Bosch, Antonio A1 Targuisti, K. A1 Aoulad Mansour, N. AB A process of salinization due to marine intrusion has been detected in the detrital coastal aquifer Martil-Alila, especially in the northern of Martil city. This intrusion has been caused by local overpumping. Geochemical studies reveals that the chemical characteristics of the analysed waters have their origin in the mixing of three different water components: intruding seawater, freshwater from the rainfall infiltration, and water, coming from border aquifers and with bicarbonate-calcium type. The chemical characteristics of all waters reveal the influence of salinization process caused by intruding sea water PB Sociedad Geológica de España YR 2000 FD 2000 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/9754 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/9754 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
