T1 Las salazones del litoral onubense : la Cetaria de El Eucaliptal

AB Se presenta en este artículo una síntesis global de las investigaciones arqueológicas realizadas en el yacimiento romano de El Eucaliptal (Punta Umbría) desde mediados de la década de los noventa del pasado siglo hasta la actualidad. Es éste un asentamiento que responde al modelo de Cetaria, dedicado a la pesca y transformación de recursos marinos(elaboración de salazones, púrpura, etc), y que presenta una ocupación desde mediados del siglo II d. C. hasta inicios del siglo VII d. C. De todo el conjunto excavado por el momento destaca su necrópolis en la que se han documentado hasta tres fases de enterramientos diferenciados por el rito y tipología de las tumbas.________________________________In this article a global synthesis ofthe archaeological investigationscarried out in the Roman settlementknown as El Eucaliptal (Punta Umbría)from the middle of the ninetiesof the past century to the present timeis presented. This settlement is aCetaria dedicated to the fishing andtransformation of marine resources(elaboration of fish-sauces, purple,etc) and show us a chronologicalsecuence between second century B.C to starts of seven century B.C. Thecemetery is very important becausethere are three burial's phases whitdifferent rites and tombs tipology.
