T1 Smart tourism destination, phygital experience and rural tourism

AB The Paradigm STd must consider the relevance of technology, not only as acomponent of management, but also as an attribute of the experience of the tourist destination. Theconcept of experience Phygital is emerging as a major challenge for the design of each STd, andthere may be important differences between types of destinations. The present study examines thebinomial STd/Phygital as in the case of the chicken and the egg. This is supported by a field work in a rural destination, and builds a model that defines and assessesthe concepts of utility and value of technology for its visitors, integrating the major currenttechnological applications in the STd. The results allow us to observe how technology mobile, online/ontime, form a permanent part ofthe behavior of the tourist, and the creation of a new type of personalized experience that mergesthe physical and technological development: Phygital
AB el paradigma STd debe considerar la relevancia de la tecnología, no sólo comocomponente de gestión, sino también como atributo de la experiencia del turista en el destino. elconcepto de experiencia Phygital está emergiendo como un reto importante para el diseño de cadaSTd, pudiendo existir diferencias relevantes entre tipos de destinos. el presente trabajo estudia el binomio STd/Phygital como el caso de la gallina y el huevo. Para ellose apoya en un trabajo de campo en un destino rural, y construye un modelo que define y valora losconceptos de utilidad y de valor de la Tecnología para sus visitantes, integrando las principalesaplicaciones tecnológicas actuales en los STd. los resultados permiten observar como la tecnología mobile, online/ontime, forma parte permanentedel comportamiento del turista, y de la creación de un nuevo tipo de experiencia personalizada quefusiona lo físico y lo tecnológico: Phygital
