abstract = {Este artículo plantea la evolución de la política exterior española tras el final de la dictadura franquista, mostrando a España como un socio comprometido con un orden internacional liberal que tiene como eje central el multilateralismo. El interés de los gobiernos españoles por la estabilidad, la prosperidad y, en última instancia, el Estado de Derecho se ha mostrado en cuestiones muy diversas y en escenarios distintos y distantes geográficamente entre sí. Esto redundó positivamente a la hora de consolidar la Transición. Posteriormente, cuestiones que han marcado el desarrollo del panorama internacional han contado con la presencia y el protagonismo indiscutible de España. En este sentido, destaca la aportación a la hora de combatir el terrorismo internacional en enclaves cuya inestabilidad puede repercutir negativamente en el espacio europeo.

abstract = {This article discusses the evolution of Spanish foreign policy after the end of Franco's dictatorship, showing Spain as a partner committed to a liberal international order centred on multilateralism. The commitment of Spanish governments to stability, prosperity and, ultimately, the rule of law has been demonstrated in a wide range of issues and in different and geographically distant scenarios. This had a positive impact on the consolidation of the Transition. Subsequently, issues that have marked the development of the international landscape have seen Spain's unquestionable presence and leading role. In this regard, its contribution to the fight against international terrorism in enclaves whose instability could have a negative impact on Europe is particularly noteworthy.},
