AB La cohesión grupal es un factor fundamental en el procesode enseñanza-aprendizaje, que juega un gran papelen la consecución de las tareas a realizar por parte delalumnado. Por tanto, la cohesión grupal determina la capacidadque tiene el alumnado de colaborar para alcanzarlos resultados previstos en cada uno de los objetivosplanteados. El fin de esta investigación es llevar a cabouna traducción y adaptación transcultural del cuestionarioGroup Cohesion Evaluation Questionnaire (GCEQ),cuyo fin es la evaluación de la percepción del alumnadoen cuanto a la cohesión grupal. Para ello, se desarrollóun proceso de traducción y retrotraducción de la escalapor parte de profesionales con una amplia experienciaen el campo, de forma que se adaptó el cuestionario sinreportar ningún ítem conflictivo. Este procedimiento hadado lugar a la versión española del GCEQ muy similar alinstrumento original, lo que permitirá a los docentes hispanohablantesla valoración de su alumnado en cuanto ala cohesión grupal.
AB Group cohesion is a fundamental factor in the teaching-learning process, which plays a great role in theachievement of the tasks to be performed by the students.Therefore, group cohesion determines the students’ abilityto collaborate in order to achieve the expected resultsin each of the objectives set. The aim of this research isto carry out a translation and cross-cultural adaptation ofthe Group Cohesion Evaluation Questionnaire (GCEQ),whose purpose is to evaluate the students’ perception ofgroup cohesion. To this end, a process of translation andback-translation of the scale was carried out by professionalswith extensive experience in the field, so that thequestionnaire was adapted without reporting any conflictingitems. This procedure has resulted in the Spanishversion of the GCEQ, which is very similar to the originalinstrument and will allow Spanish-speaking teachers toassess their students in terms of group cohesion.
