AB One of the aims of the SPanish MeteorNetwork (SPMN) is the recovery and analysis ofmeteorites. So, we focus special attention on verybright fireballs, as under appropriate conditions theseunusual events may give rise to meteorite falls. Forthis purpose we operate 25 meteor observing stationsthat monitor the night sky over Spain and neighbouringareas. These provide useful data for the determinationof radiant, orbital, photometric and chemical parameters[1, 2, 3]. In this context, we present here thefirst results of the analysis of a superbolide observedover the Iberian Peninsula on July 13, 2012.
