Se realiza un sintético estado de la cuestión para explicar la problemática textual y se examinan las innovaciones que presenta el incunable.This paper presents an overview of the issues that arise from the translation of Giovanni Boccaccio's De casibus virorum illustrium during the 15th century in Spain. The testimonies that are preserved, several manuscripts and an early printed edition, are the only known copies of a lost archetype.
