Demuéstrase la conservación d’esta grafía y pronunciación hasta’l sieglu XIX inclusive.Historical approach to the Asturian language in the oriental zone of the domain, particularly in Sajambre, through documents from the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Age to the present period, most of them unpublished. The historical record of the use of grapheme <y> is presented in the name of the river Seya and other major and minor toponyms related with it.
