These platforms grade landwards, westwards to the Hesperian Massif, to silicidastic, littoral and coastal sediments. Two major depositional megasequences (2nd order) and 12 depositional sequences (3rd order) have been recognized. Detailed paleogeographical maps for the eleven basal depositional sequences are presented in this paper. Temporal ranging of these maps is about 2 My, from Upper Albian (102 My) to Lower Campanian (83 My)spaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/PalaeogeographyIberian BasinUpper CretaceousEvolución paleogeógráfica de la Cuenca Ibérica en el Cretácico SuperiorPalaeogeographic evolution of the Iberian Basin along the Upper Cretaceousjournal articleopen access
