Se contribuye así al creciente interés en las últimas décadas por expandir el canon romántico, aceptando el Romanticismo como un movimiento en plural por la variedad de autores, temas y aspectos, entre los que debemos incluir a T. L. Peacock y su ecléctica obra paródica.This study aims to reassess and to make Thomas Love Peacock and his work more well-known within the romantic context, as they are key in order to recover one of the prevailing lines of English Romanticism: romantic parody. It thus contributes to the growing interest in recent decades to expand the Romantic canon, accepting Romanticism as a movement in the plural because of the variety of authors, topics and aspects, among which we must include T. L.
