Es por esto que, en este artículo, señalamos algunas fechas y acontecimientos que han sido fundamentales para el surgimiento y avance de esta materia, para, posteriormente, realizar un recorrido por su situación actual en los ámbitos anglosajón, germánico o español, entre otros.
