They are scarce and early intrusions outcrop p ing as sm all massifs (< 7 k m 2) in the widespread hercynian granitic magmatism. Aldeaencabo tonalité is characterised by the lack of metaluminous minerals as amphibole or pyroxenes. Chemically is a peraluminous rock rich in incompatible elements (K, Rb, Zr, REE) in comparison to other nearby tonalités. An intracontinental calkalkaline affinity is defined. Nevertheless, the low Ca, Na and Sr contents point to a supressed mantle contibution in the genesis of this rockspaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/TonalitésGeochemistryIberian Hercynian BeltLas tonalitas biotíticas de Aldeaencabo de Escalona (Toledo), Sistema Central EspañolThe biotite-bearing tonalités of Aldeaencabo de Escalona (Toledo), Spanish Central Systemjournal articleopen access
